Hong Kong Transparency Report will be on a plenary session "Internet Freedom in Asia" at the Freedom Online conference in Ulaanbaatar on 4 May. This session will look at the current trends in internet development throughout the region and specific trends or forces shaping the environment. It will look at the perspective of business as well as civil society with an overview from government. It will examine how internet freedom can be best supported in the region.
Hong Kong Transparency Report's Jennifer Zhang presented HKTR's research project on a transparency reporting panel at RightsCon in Manila on 24 March. Jennifer was joined by Jiwon Sohn from South Korea Transparency Report, Ben Blink from Google, Craig Choy from Keyboard Frontline, Peter Micek from Access, and Charles Mok from Hong Kong Legislative Council. The panel was moderated by Peter.
